Our family story

Grahams Natural creates natural skin care products for people with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. We created Grahams Natural as a result of our own personal experiences with eczema.

Geoff was reported as one of the worst cases of eczema as a 3 month old baby in the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

Having lived with this terrible condition throughout his life, it wasn't until his son Ryan was 14 months of age and was covered from head to toe with eczema that Geoff decided to do something positive about it!

"Shannon, we have to do something, I cannot let Ryan go through what I had!"  

Geoff and Shannon started researching Eczema everywhere they could.

"Over the years I had seen every doctor and dermatologist and used every product available on the market".

Geoff knew that there was no quick fix to Eczema, it is a complex skin condition and is different for everyone but what Geoff did discover was:

1. Anti-inflammatory - Eczema skin tends to red and inflamed.
2. Antibacterial - Skin contains bacteria which normally protects us from infection and is good thing but not when the skins barrier is compromised this allows the bacteria to leach in and causes inflammation and infection.
3. Hydrate and moisturise dry itchy skin - is required by all skin sufferers as soon as the skin dries out that is when it becomes itchy and can start the whole process of scratching and infection all over again.

" Geoff and Shannon started mixing different raw materials that Geoff knew had helped him before.

The development process

"Geoff and Shannon continued their research into eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and Rosacea. "The more research we did, the more we found skin conditions are not only an external problem, but also an internal one."

Geoff found clinical studies showing both diseases indicated a lacking in Essential Fatty Acids, Omega 3, 6, 9. "We developed Mega Oil, which is an internal oil covering the essential fatty acids, omega 3, 6, 9 at the correct ratio of 2:1:1"
